This world
was formed
over billions of years.
Heat,
pressure,
volcanoes,
cataclysms
turn to
oceans,
mountains,
valleys
created by
the celestial architect.
And in our boundless
selfishness
we claim
responsibility
for it all.

Yay environmentalism
I dig the sarcasm of the second stanza because it so shows how important we think we are. I think after the first stanza if you added the single line, "And then He created man." the second stanza would become even more sarcastic and more poignant, but that's just me. Welcome back by the way.
