The sun is over
400 times larger than
our moon and even
more important. Yet
the moon is undeterred,
and a couple of times
a year cuts in
front of our star to
bask in the spot-
light.
This satellite's
stay is temporary,
like an under-
study's on a sick day,
but, for that moment,
ambition has talent
trumped
and too
many of us
under-
stand.

Long day... I'll comment on everything tomorrow.
This, like the rest of your poems, is exceedingly clever. I really like the way in which you approach your subject. You have a wry way of looking at your poetry that I admire. I particularly like this kind of celestial ambition and how it ties in to many of our lives.
