out the other

Words can create
change,
fear,
anger,
pain,
and occasionally
a stiff wind.

In one ear and out the other. This was my class tonight. I'm tired. I think that I can expand on this, but it's not too bad of a start, I don't think.

It's a great start. I totally got the point while reading it, but the words "stiff wind" bring it all together. Regular wind cuts right through us, but a stiff wind wants our attention.

Thanks for the kind words in the last comment post. I wish I could do more, I really admire you and Brett for sticking with it and I don't want to get in the way of your progression. Have a wonderful weekend and I hope your students come back refreshed next week (we can hope right?).

I really like the progression of the word you choose here as each word creates the next word until we just shut ourselves off and don't listen at all. I think you can expand on this as well, but a terrific start nonetheless.
