My teeth grip red flesh,
tearing through, raw,
its juices dripping down
the corners of my mouth.
This, the price of eternity.
I would not have it any other way.

Hi poets! My apologies for the MIA. I'm drowning in papers, and more and more, I'm missing this creative outlet. After reading a few of Peter's poems, I felt inspired to write a quickie. I intend to return to daily posts once I complete this unending stack of essays. Hope you're all doing well!
Back from the dead. Oh Lazarus Yoo how we've missed you. Just another optimistic overtly Christian Edward Yoo piece. Love the images that it evokes.
Edward Awakened! Welcome back and I see you've brought a friend with Yoo (do you see what I did there?).
This poem in short and sweet (pun intended). The fist stanza is almost cannibalistic in its description which works because once Adam bit the apple, man tore into real flesh. I also like how Adam accepts his fate and in a sense this supplies more optimism than your other religious poems. Did something happen while you were gone?
