Popped in my head last night. Your Facebook assaults might have had something to do with it.

Glad to see the assault got you thinking poetry. Mission accomplished!

I like that your first poem in some time examines dual meanings, like the many puns you wield. Quintessential Vogelman.

Your poem also reminds me of a Jon Stewart quote:

"If 'con' is the opposite of pro, then isn't Congress the opposite of progress? Or did we just fucking blow your mind?!?"

Hi Everyone!

Brent, I really like this one. Especially after the conversation we had. And, of course I sense that biting sarcasm of yours which I happen to enjoy in this brief, clear description of an exchange between two people that seems to end an a realization of a misunderstanding and how misunderstandings are really based in how and the way we communicate? And then there is the randomness of language. . .Yikes! At least, that is what I gather from it.

Nice to see you here, Nooshin! Hope all is well! You gonna post some poetry of your own?

Ha. It worked. I always admire the simplicity and wit in your work. This is no exception.
