Aimless

With hours
to spend
I sit
in a tree's
Iong cast shadow
and futily attempt
to stave off
boredom.

You don't owe anything, except for my soul back since you stole it with this blog.

This poem is a break from your style and almost seems like you're channelling Edward here. I read the poem as ironic because sometimes there's nothing better than sitting under a tree, relaxing, and writing (emphasis on sometimes).
