Pictures transport.
From the kitchen table
under the dusty ceiling fan
to the backyard
you used to play in.
Water bills replaced
by water baloon fights.
A warm beer turns
to cold iced tea.
The piles of images
strewn across the
place where you
eat your cereal,
a story you love to retell.

That first line is reinforced with wonderful images, sir. I feel the movement from the dingy kitchen to backyard antics. I see the warm beer turning the corner, into cold iced tea. The only place I slipped was with the water bills. I wonder if the verb that shifts them into water baloon fights can be a bit more transportive. Otherwise, all gold and rainbows, mister man.
