The company line’s simple:
Production drives Pontiacs;
Marketing drives Cadillacs.
Step 1:
Never mind
A lack in substance.
Step 2:
Package nicely.
Color brightly.
Price competitively.
Ship cheaply.
Display strategically.
Step 3:
Shout loudly—
From newsstands/
Near freeways/
Through the air.
Step 4:
Await success.

I'm going to be completely honest. I love the first stanza. I want company board members to tell this to employees. What scares me is that I might have heard this before but Google says otherwise (and Google's always right). Enjoy!
Your love for the first stanza is well warranted, and you manage to maintain a similar level of quality throughout all the stanzas that follow. The step-by-step presentation reminds me of your poem, Poem-O-Matic, which reminds me (as does this one) of a postmodern poem whose author and title still alludes me. I also like the matter-of-fact tone you adopt, which makes it read all the more cynically and cold, as if channeling Alec Baldwin's voice from Glengarry Glenn Ross. The fact that you want board members to embrace this voice scares me, sir.
